Got to Believe in Magic

A Black and white photo turned to a colorized one, the color of the hair changed in just a few minutes.. Do you still believe in magic? Or do you believe in the magic of Photoshop?

Fourth grading is over!! \(*0*)/

I’m not good in editing pictures in Photoshop but I tried to have a good result in editing some photos. We can put colors in a black and white image. Applying color in the hair, changing the whole color of an image, well I really enjoyed trying those things.

Fourth grading is a busy one. We didn’t have many lectures but it’s ok because photoshop is not that hard. We met Ms. Pantaleon, Ma’am Vera Cruz’s practice teacher, she is beautiful.

This is the end of it...

Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are FREE at last!

My dream, My future

"Vision and Inspiration are like the elements of RACE. Your vision is the finish line while your inspiration is the starting point." ~ J.D.F

I am full of dreams. Dreams that serve as my inspiration. These dreams are motivating me to pursue my studies, to work hard on it. Every time I want to give up on things, I just think about these dreams and it gives hope to me to continue the life that I have started.

I want to become a Certified Public Accountant in the future. I want to be called MA’AM inside nor outside our office. I want to work in a famous bank in abroad, specifically in Australia or Canada. I will have a mansion, many cars, and I will put up my own restaurant or a fashion boutique being managed by my mother. But on that mansion I want to see my family there, my mother, my father, my siblings, nephews and nieces.  I want to have my own family, a happy and complete one. Having my loving and caring husband, and healthy and cute children. I want to explore the Philippines, my mother land, but of course with my whole family.

To sum it up, I want to become a SUCCESSFUL PERSON someday. I want to become the daughter that my parents will be proud of. I will be the one who will make their dreams come true.

I am the change that the world is waiting for...

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
Barack Obama

Sometimes we just need to open our minds that we don’t need some people to change us, we need ourselves to change ourselves. “They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.” A very nice quotation by Andy Warhol.

Some people say that they changed because of a person or an event that had happened to their lives but I think it’s not. It is just the INFLUENCE of that person to them that inspires them to change maybe for the better or for the worse.

Change: it starts with me. It’s like the New Year, New Me post. Well, change. It is something to be realized by you, not by other people. We need to say to ourselves that “Change: IT STARTS WITH ME”, ‘coz change will not occur if you are not ready to undergo a change. Change, it is always there, it's just waiting for the right time for you to open its doors. We need to change, not for the better, but for the BEST...

There is nothing permanent except change.

ONE DAY, I'LL CHANGE THE WORLD...

It's MORE FUN in ILOCOS SUR

It's More Fun in Ilocos Sur

This year, the Ilokanos celebrated Kannawidan Festival last January 29-February 9. We are celebrating it every year because it was the day where Ilocos Sur  was declared as a province. Prior to this date, the stretch of Bangui in Ilocos Norte down to Luna La Union is called Ylocos which is a term to refer to the coastal inhabitants. It literally meant “from the lowlands”. Ilocos Sur especially Vigan is branded as the Heart of Ilocandia by the Philippine Historical Committee. It’s a province very rich in culture and heritage. Kannawidan means traditions and this province got to showcase all what she has.

Actually, last January 30 was the first time that I attended the said festival. Well, for me it was perfect. I witnessed how people give importance to our culture even though we are in a world of technology. It’s so nice to know that our provincial government is still active and can motivate their fellow Ilokanos to respect our culture and to preserve it for the next generations. A big pat on their shoulders! Especially to our governor, Honorable Ryan Singson, for a job well done.

Ilocos Sur Gov. Ryan Luis Singson said yesterday that the Kannawidan Festival presents the Ilocano heritage and traditions.
“Our festival this year will feature competitions in traditional choral singing, rituals, beauty search, painting, fashion show, and zarzuela (opera) ilocana,” Singson said.

I saw him that day, and also the Sangguniang Panlalawigan members and Sen. Cynthia Villar as the guest speaker. It was also the cutting of ribbons. What I am amazed to was the cultural show. Children from other tribes had the cultural dance with their Bahag clothes, I’m so glad that there are still people who are not ashamed to let other people see what they must see. I’m proud for them because they are so confident to show what tribes they belong. The schedule was full of activites. Fun run, battle of the bands, Ms. Saniata, and other activities. There were also celebrities who came there like: Bamboo, Yves Flores, Bangs Garcia, Karen Reyes, Manny Pacquiao. For me, it’s a nice idea that they invited those celebrities for they can also witness and see our culture. MakaPilipino. That is my description to them.

Over-all,  it’s enjoyable. It’s more fun in Ilocos Sur.
