Going Global, Through English Language

In our daily life, our tongues are used to in speaking in English. It became as a part of our living.

English as a global language is very useful especially in this modern living. It serves as a bridge to every nation. We use this as a communicative language to others. It is very important for us to study this one because we can use this to communicate with other people with different nationalism. It is a tie that binds us to be as one.

English is also used in businesses especially those in big companies.  It is a big help to them to have a better communication to each other.

With the English theme “Going Global, Through English Language” is just a sign that English is a global language.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

Did you come to the point that you realized that life is being unfair to you? Well, all I know is that we are born with equal rights, so we must have also equal opportunities.
There are many people who are complaining that they were not given equal opportunities. Let’s take for example in finding a job. In the last few days, I watched “Failon Ngayon” which has a topic about finding a job. Some people were complaining that it was really hard for them to find a job because some companies are hiring fresh graduates or those who have enough experiences already on the said position. My question is that “is it fair?” How can our economy will rise from poverty if that is the only thing that companies in our country will base on?  We must give chance to others also, because we all have equal rights and so we must be given equal opportunities.
What’s the use of the laws that our politicians had made? And all of us were born without a gold spoon on our mouths nor wrapped when we came out. So I think it would be unfair if only chosen people were given the chance to have a better life than some people who are trying to have also a better life. We must always remember that we are all humans that must be given equal rights and equal opportunities.

Essence of Christmas

Everyone should feel Christmas as a special day wherein they should celebrate it with their loved ones. But there is something that I always ask to myself: does everyone feel Christmas as a special day? Or do they celebrate it with their loved ones?
Houses filled with magnificent Christmas lights, full of wonderful Christmas decorations, tables with delicious foods that would full the tummies of everyone. But most especially the heart that is filled with joy and love, and the soul that feels the spirit of Jesus Christ and the true meaning of Christmas.
But not only that, Christmas is the time where a family tries to be whole and complete. Why did I say so? Because we, Filipinos, believe that Christmas is not complete if one of the members of our family is not with us to celebrate it. But some, unfortunately, cannot celebrate it with their families because they are too far, a good example are the OFW’s. However, thanks to technology because it’s one way of connecting people far from each other.
I also wonder if there are those who treat Christmas as an ordinary day, there are those people who never experience celebrating it with many foods in their tables, with their houses with decorations, but they still manage to be happy with those things that they have and things that they don’t have.
So I believe that Christmas should be felt by our hearts and souls.

"Climate Change"

Climate change? Well if we define it, this is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distributions of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years. Is this happening now? Definitely, YES!
Typhoon Yolanda destroyed many lives and properties. It is just a proof that this world is now experiencing climate change where in it is now a more dangerous one. Last time I watched an educational episode or news about typhoon Yolanda, climate change is the reason why it became stronger. It affects the temperature on the oceans, because of the uncontrollable heat, the typhoon got stronger and wider as it is being developed.
The causes of climate change are the wrongful deeds of humans. We neglect our nature, God created man to take good care of the creatures that He did. Time after time, we are the witnessed that our environment is changing. The old world that has green surrounding because of many plants, the blue water where fishes live, the bluish sky where the birds are free to fly is now changed into a very dirty one. Air pollution everywhere, that causes the so called greenhouse effect which leads into global warming and climate change. The cause of climate change is said to be because carbon dioxide is being emitted through the large scale burning of oil, coil, and gas. The carbon dioxide traps heat from the sun in the atmosphere and prevent it from being sent back out into space..
